that's from "chorus of the saints" by revive, and i actually really like it. i thought they were saying "coolest of the saints" originally which was kind of funny, but now it makes more sense ><.

anyway, hello everyone! it's been awhile! school kept me super busy, but now this semester is over! it actually went well (though there were a few moments i thought it wouldn't) and now it's out and i'll be applying for nursing school this coming fall, wish me luck. ^^

these last two weeks i've been in a crash course for nursing assistants, and i am now employed in a nursing home. i start orientation/work on monday! that goes for a full week and then i'll be working weekends. i'm excited but terrified at the same time-- i'm not sure i'm ready! but i know God will be with me. it was a tough course, and working there will be hard, i cried coming home almost every day. the residents there are so sweet, and i love them so much. i really feel that this is where i'm supposed to be, and i know God will give me strength. i might be the only smiling face they see all day, i want to make a difference in their lives. i know that many of the elderly there have all ready made a difference in mine. <3. i'm still scared there, but i know this is good! i'm pretty stoked. ^^ and very blessed for the opportunity!

i've been sketching a lot, but nothing great, but i hope to color a few sketches this summer and get them up, just to keep practicing! so you can expect some art from me, i hope! ^^ thanks to everyone for your patience and continuing to watch me.

i also got to experience a korean Bible study this semester, which was just awesome. my friend invited me, and we got to eat authentic korean food (which was super amazing) and then i got to listen and sit with them thruogh the Bible study, and one the girls translated for me. it was an amazing experience to listen to people talk, sing, and praise God in a different language and listen to them pray and it was just really great. God hears all languages! i felt very blessed to be able to experience that.

other than that not much else-- nervous and excited-- i feel a little like that eager emoticon. ^^ please pray for me that i'll be a good nursing assistant to all the people there. ^^
